Celebrating Life’s Stories

“Celebrating Life’s Stories” is the 2018 theme for National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW), formerly known as National Nursing Home Week. Today we honor Donna Evans.
Donna Evans was born in Rockville Maryland, a suburb of Washington DC in 1952. She is celebrating another birthday this week in fact, TODAY, on the 16th of May. She went to Bluefield College in West Virginia where she met her husband. Eventually she moved to Berea Kentucky and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University. In total she had three boys. Donna spent her career as a data entry personnel. She had many jobs of this kind. She was also able to stay at home with the kids for many years raising them at home. In addition to these life event she enjoys singing in the church choir, collecting Snoopy memorabilia, and lighthouses as well. Currently she has five grandchildren that are all boys. She is described by her family as kind, giving even when she didn’t have much to give, loved by her neighbors, and good-natured.
